We are online on the evening of January 27, 2003 and 16 more people are about to begin the online adventure of a lifetime. They have each been selected from the largest pool of applicants in Online Survivor history and have been waiting patiently for months. In just a few moments, they will learn the identity of their fellow tribemates and competitors. This year, the game has taken a drastic change. No longer will SP, attendance, and other important stats be given out freely. Survivors are now solely responsible for keeping track of everything. Also, in the past, both tribes met at two different times. This year both tribes will be meeting at the same time and in addition I, the host, will not be spending every moment with the Survivors. They are truly on their own this time around. If they want the title of Sole Survivor they'll have to outwit, outplay, and outlast their 15 competitors through 39 meeting days and 89 actual days of twists and turns that could almost be described as too much. The ultimate battle of humanity played online returns! 39 days, 16 people, 1 Survivor!
