During the course of the game, contestants are given a projected schedule and permitted to vote on changes to which days challenges are held. According to rule, an inactive is not allowed to vote in this fashion. However, their votes are still considered, provided they do not interfere with the rest of the active cast. This week, the vote was tied, and Game, being inactive, had his vote dropped for the first time. He immediately filed a complaint with the producers.
Game2Shark5: these rules are ridiculous. plus, changing your scheduled time is a HUGE slap in the face

Survivor Guy 886: the rules aren't perfect. Say...we have to have a meeting on a certain day to fit something in, and Bood suddenly says "Oh...I can't make it that day". We're not going to rearrange the schedule for a guy that never showed up to begin with anyway. that's the thought process

Survivor Guy 886: I hear you. But that rule was written before I ever had anyone foreign playing. I didn't want U.S. players saying I should postpone because some other country had a disaster.

Survivor Guy 886: i definitely have to do something about the requests...people are starting to use them strategically instead of legitimate purposes

Survivor Guy 886: It's an unofficial quit...according to rules I cannot simply say "Game quit"...i'm sorry...i follow my rules...i'm a black and white person

Survivor Guy 886: yes, unofficially, obviously i can't force you to play...but in terms of how it affects the other participants in the game...they'll be playing against an empty slot that still votes

Survivor Guy 886: I haven't done anything to you. I simply followed a rule. This happens to me once every season. I follow a rule, and someone gets upset. However, that's the way I work...and it's why my game has lasted. I'm sorry it had to happen to you and I'm sorry you got upset, but I did not do anything wrong.
