lordyme123: I just have to say good job and its hard for me to judge how you both played the game when I really barely played with either of you
lordyme123: So lets spice it up a bit and I want you both to tell me why the other should NOT win this game. I want atleast 2 reasons.
Survivor Guy 886: GUESS WE'LL START WITH VB
VBPunk81: Well, if I had to give you that answer then I would say that firstly, he has done this before and failed ... while this is my first OLS game ever.
VBPunk81: And secondly, he did not get into the game as much as I did... I guess.
VBPunk81: *looks to Penguin*
Survivor Guy 886: PENGUIN?
ppenguin757: Well, I'd say one reason that VB shouldn't win is because he shouldn't be here in the first place.
ppenguin757: He won the final 3 immunity challenge with a lot of luck, and had he not won it, he wouldn't be here.
ppenguin757: And neither Spider nor I were able to give our 100% effort, due to extenuating circumstances that were beyond our control.
ppenguin757: Secondly, I don't think VB did as much as I did to get here.
VBPunk81: *rolls eyes*
ppenguin757: As far as strategy went, he was with Viveros, and Viveros only. He really didn't do that much strategizing except when it came to turning on Tim at the final 5.
ppenguin757: He got into an alliance of four strong that, after breaking up a fractured Bayoneta, was able to carry him pretty far, he didn't do much on his own.
ppenguin757: done.

Survivor Guy 886: I GUESS WE'LL GO TO VB AGAIN
VBPunk81: Well I made three alliances and one promise ...
VBPunk81: I was allied with Duncan... with Brian ... and with Viveros as a whole.
VBPunk81: Viveros was at the bottom, with Duncan ahead of that and Brian at the top.
VBPunk81: And the one promise I made was to Jakey. That I would not vote him out at that night's council. And I kept my word.
Fear The Slice: And yet, in the end, you sold him out at the Final 4?
VBPunk81: He knew he could not beat Spider and understood why I made that choice.
VBPunk81: Brian forgave me for doing that, and in doing that I protected the alliance I had with Viveros and made sure that both of the final two were from that tribe.
VBPunk81: You did say "intended to keep" ... did you not?
Fear The Slice: Yes. I was just wondering why you turned at F4 against him
VBPunk81: He was not good at challenges and penguin was ...
VBPunk81: although it ended up just being me and Spider there anyway.
Fear The Slice: OK. Penguin?
ppenguin757: I had 3 alliances this game...one with the "mini gamers," one with Viveros, and one with Spider
ppenguin757: Originally, I intended to have you, me, Lordy, Rhi, and Vanessa as the final 5.
ppenguin757: Unfortunately, we were broken up at the beginning of the game, each of us on a separate tribe, and Rhi and Vanessa both on Viveros.
ppenguin757: At that point, both you and Rhi had managed to piss a ton of people off.
ppenguin757: And when I say a ton, I mean almost everyone.
ppenguin757: No offense
Fear The Slice: Good=)
ppenguin757: Since I didn't want to alienate myself further, I agreed to voting you guys out, 4 in a row.
ppenguin757: That leaves Viveros and Spider.
ppenguin757: When I saw that I was on La Mina with Budd, Akkadian, and Spider, I immediately knew that I needed to protect myself somehow, because I had voted out Budd and Akkadian in previous games.
ppenguin757: So, I went to Spider immediately and formed an agreement of sorts, where we watch each others backs.
ppenguin757: As La Mina won more and more, I think we learned to trust each other more and more, and as the game grew on, that deal eventually turned into a final 2.
ppenguin757: However, La Mina was dissolved, and I was put on Viveros with the other 3 that I made the final 4 pact with, Rhi, and Vanessa.
ppenguin757: Those three were not happy with Rhi or Vanessa, as earlier events had occured within the tribe that caused them to be unsetled about their positions in the game.
ppenguin757: As we moved into the merge and such, that developed into a final 4 deal, implied or not.
ppenguin757: When Viveros started picking off Bayoneta, I knew sooner or later I would have to make a choice: Spider, or the Viveros 4. Since I had a pact/agreement/alliance/whatever with Spider since Day 1, I knew that I was going to honor my
ppenguin757: final 2 alliance with him over my final 4 alliance with Viveros.
ppenguin757: And I did the best that I could to do so.
ppenguin757: done
Fear The Slice: One last question.
ppenguin757: ok
Fear The Slice: Which deal would you honor. Spider or the mini game alliance if giventhe chance
ppenguin757: Honestly? I would have honored my final 2 with Spider over you guys, because he would have worked 100x as hard as Vanessa would have

SpiderFab4: As for my personal view on the final 2, while I don't have all the information I'm sure...I can't see voting for somebody who's main braintrust was Brian the hyper, half-retarded Asian kid as a viable option.

SpiderFab4: Starting with the Final 6, I've been hearing rumors from a few people, in this game, as well as my friend Dekar (btw, please dont accuse my friends)
SpiderFab4: So I'll let you set the record straight right now: At any point in this game did you plan to backstab me and vote me out?
ppenguin757: Did I say I was planning to? Yes. But look at that timeframe: final 6 and on, which was at the point where I was trying to keep my final 2 alliance with you completely hidden and secret from my final 4 alliance with Viveros. But in
ppenguin757: no way was I ever intending to backstab you or vote you out. I was telling Viveros what they wanted to hear so that they wouldn't suspect me of having a final two with you, even though we were together since Day 1.
ppenguin757: I was also worried, because I had the immunity idol in my back pocket, and I didn't want them getting suspicious of me turning at the final 5, and forcing me to use it before the final 4, when I knew things could and probablyy would
ppenguin757: get messy. I know it sounds like I was trying to play both sides of the fence, and in all honesty I was trying to juggle both you and the other Viveros 3 from the final 13 on.
ppenguin757: But that's what I felt I had to do to make it far in the gmae, and so that's what I did. But back to my point: I never, EVER intended to vote you out at any point in this game.
SpiderFab4: So yelling at VB last night was a part of that juggling?
SpiderFab4: Or, what, im still confused about that
ppenguin757: Honestly, it was a strategy to get me to the final 2. I didn't think that talking to him before hand would have made as much of an impact as me throwing a hissy fit in front of the jury at Tribal Council.
ppenguin757: I figured that if he saw how "immature" I was acting, and how bad I looked in the eyes of the jury when I did that, he would take me to the final two. It was a risky strategy, because I did do a lot in the tribal stages of the game,
ppenguin757: but at the same time, I didn't want to say anything directly negative about you. So, yeah, it was kind of juggling, because I didn't want to sell you out just because we couldn't both make the final 2. I tried to walk a fine line.
