ppenguin757: myself, Rhi, Vanessa, Lordy, and Fear all play "mini games"
ppenguin757: which are short versions of long-term games like these played in a chat room
ppenguin757: we all knew each other before hand
Survivor Guy 886: AND THEY WEREN'T LIKED, WHY?
ppenguin757: because in mini games, everyone tends to be really arrogant
ppenguin757: hence why they're looked down upon by most of the ORG community

ppenguin757: because one or two are played every night, and if you play often enough, you're bound to have one spectacular win
ppenguin757: and all these people come online with these huge personalities and they just want to be the best. If I may quote from Shawn of Martha Stewart's Apprentice, they "fake it 'till they make it."
ppenguin757: And I don't think they get that you can't do that in this game.

ppenguin757: I was pretty much sent to isolation every single week
ppenguin757: There were some weeks when I was kind of like...eh, I don't want to go
ppenguin757: and some weeks when I was really fired up to get the clue.
ppenguin757: I knew that if I didn't go, one of my allies had to, so I would always be up on the clues.
ppenguin757: After clue 3, things started clicking in my head, and I was able to utilize every clue from then on to get on step closer
ppenguin757: it got really, really frustarting at times, especially when I was anagramming the second idol clue
ppenguin757: and searching the site was AWFUL, even though it was better than OLS 11, because no one was looking for it besides me

ppenguin757: it gave me a lot more confidence when it came to dealing with the Viveros 4 and Spider
ppenguin757: and it took a lot of pressure off of my shoulders, and I never had to worry if the person I was targetting found the idol.

ppenguin757: Wow, this has truly been a fantastic game
ppenguin757: I've experienced it with a newfound friend, Spider
ppenguin757: And some old friends, Rhi, Vanessa, Fear, Lordy, Brian, and VB.
ppenguin757: Yes, VB and I know each other outside of this game, and despite that, I would have taken Spider to the final 2.
ppenguin757: I think this is one of the best strategies that I have played, and in the end it worked out for me.
ppenguin757: I hope whoever is reading this enjoyed this season, because I will go down in history for all of this :)
ppenguin757: I had a great time, and I look forward to playing future OLS games, especially the OLS Championship game w00t ^_^
